Abstract
The ecological observation in the present study was carried out over a period of one year i.e. from March 1991 to February 1992. It is an at tempt to correlate the population density of surface rotifera with som e physico-chemical parameters i.e. air and water temperature, rainfall , dissolved oxygen, BOD, COD, pH, total nitrogen, total hardness, TDS and alkalinity.
