Abstract
Pelvic-organ prolapse and stress urinary incontinence are significant deterrents to achieving a good quality of life for the menoproblems pa rt of the normal aging process. One third of all sanitary pads sold in the United States are for urinary leakage. Accurate diagnosis is impe rative so that successful treatment programs may be initiated. Most wo men can gel significant relief from symptoms and achieve an improved q uality of life.
