Mr. Sapoval et al., USE OF A SNARE-LOOP DEVICE AS AN ADJUNCT TO PALMAZ STENT PLACEMENT, Catheterization and cardiovascular diagnosis, 36(3), 1995, pp. 269-271
A patient was treated by PTA for a tight excentric stenosis in the ext
ernal iliac artery, Following angioplasty, appropriate placement of a
Palmaz stent over the lesion was impossible because of arterial curves
and irregular aspect of the residual stenosis, To overcome this probl
em, the stent was grasped and pulled over the lesion using a snare loo
p device by contralateral approach. (C) 1995 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
