Abstract
The alpha-amino carboxylate complexes (Ph(3)P)(OC)RhNH2-C(H)(R)CO2 (R = Me, CH(2)Ph = 1, 2) were prepared from Rh(Cl)(CO)(PPh(3))(2) and H2N C(H)(R)CO2- in the presence of AgBF4 and characterized by X-ray diffra ction. In the crystal the complexes form chains by hydrogen bridges be tween amino and carboxylate groups of adjacent molecules.
