Abstract
The structures of the two natural didemnins with a modified macrocycle , [Tyr(5)]didemnin B [2] and [D-Pro(4)]didemnin B [3], isolated from. the Aplousobranch ascidian Trididemnum cyanophorum (Didemnidae) are de scribed. Structures were determined by FABMS and NMR spectroscopy, abs olute configurations by Marfey analysis of the acid hydrolisates. Conf ormational informations are given and cytotoxic activities against hum an lymphoblastic leukemia cell lines evaluated.
