Abstract
Passive leg raising is known to increase cardiac output and amplify ri ght sided murmurs during cardiac auscultation but its role in provocat ion of tricuspid valve pressure gradients has not been precisely docum ented. We studied the effect of passive leg raising in amplifying dias tolic gradients across the stenotic tricuspid valve during simultaneou s recording of right atrial and right ventricular pressures.
