EVALUATION OF IMPEDANCE DIAGRAMS IN CORROSION MEASURING TECHNIQUE

An evaluation technique of the impedance diagrams is described for the case of metal dissolution with adsorbed intermediary product. The ele ments of the equivalent circuit corresponding to the assumed reaction mechanism were determined on the basis of the frequency dependence of the real and imaginary parts of the admittance. The technique is illus trated by the study of iron and zinc dissolution in acidic media.
