Abstract
A large spectral bandwidth stimulated Rayleigh wing scattering is obse rved in bulk CS2. The spectrum and temperature dependence are explaine d by a mechanism based on collision-induced scattering. Applications t o two beam coupling scattering, such as geometric deviation and amplif ication of the scattered beam by addition of a weak probe beam are pre sented.
