Abstract
The effect of the nature of individual oxides of Fe, Cr, Mo, Al, Si, d isulfides of Mo, W and conditions of methylisopropylidenimine interact ion with SO2 on 4-methylthiazol formation have been studied. It is pos sible to accelerate the synthesis of 4-methylthiazol by Al and Si oxid es having acid-base properties.
