Abstract
The statistical lattice model suggested considers phase transitions in a vanadium catalyst for SO2 oxidation regarding the real structure of the melt of the active component. The model is proved to reflect prop erly the experimentally observed regularities, e. g., how V4+ compound s crystallize from the melt depending on their concentration and react ion temperature.
