Ga. Kildibekova et al., INFLUENCE OF THE LIQUID-PHASE VAPOR-PRESSURE ON THE HYDROGEN SPILLOVER, Reaction kinetics and catalysis letters, 56(1), 1995, pp. 197-203
Hydrogen spillover in the presence of water and alcohol vapor has been
studied by semiconductor sensors. The conductivity of sensors increas
es at low vapor pressure and decreases as the pressure increases. Appa
rently it becomes easier for activated hydrogen to migrate from Pt to
ZnO when a solvated protons form in liquid islands in the vicinity of
metal particles.
