Abstract
In this contribution the results of some electron microscopy studies o n microstructures related with phase transitions in a variety of mater ials will be presented. The materials include binary and ternary alloy s, high T-c superconductors as well as C-60 and C-70 fullerenes, while the transitions can be diffusional, displacive or both.
