Abstract
Trioza vitreoradiata (Maskell), a native of New Zealand, has recently been noted feeding on Pittosporum spp. (Pittosporaceae) in south-weste rn Britain, where it causes damage to windbreaks and nursery plants. I ts economic impact and nomenclatural history are discussed, and modifi cations to published keys to adults and nymphs of British Psylloidea a re suggested to enable its recognition.
