Abstract
Comparison between crosslinking of LDPE by gamma ray from a cobalt-60 source and by electron beam was studied. Post crosslinking of expanded polyethylene was also studied, to improve their mechanical properties ; this process could be carried out in line. Ratio of scission and cro sslinking yields and Rg (gel dose) were also determined.
