SPONTANEOUS INTRACRANIAL HYPOTENSION

The clinical features and radiological appearances of spontaneous intr acranial hypotension are described in three patients and the medical l iterature is reviewed. Awareness of this condition and its differentia tion from more sinister meningitic processes is important to avoid unn ecessary invasive investigations and to allow prompt diagnosis and eff ective treatment.
