Abstract
We discuss properties of an attractor in the neighbourhood of chaos-hy perchaos transition. The intermittency like model and a scaling law fo r the transition based on the features of the Poincare map are develop ed. We investigate the properties of the Lyapunov and correlation dime nsions in the neighbourhood of the transition point.
