Abstract
The investigation of the orientational ordering transition in solid C- 60 was carried out using differential scanning calorimetry, X-ray, and high-performance liquid chromatography methods. A remarkable influenc e of crystal dimensions on the temperature and heat of the phase trans ition was observed. The influence of impurities is found to be less si gnificant, while the slight increase of the lattice parameter after me chanical grinding of solid C-60 is detected.
