Abstract
This paper presents a new algorithm to rasterize outlined characters f or desk-top publishing applications. The font shape is described by it s contours, cubic Bezier curves and/or straight lines. The algorithm i s based on chain-code flags. It is fast, easy to implement and can gua rantee the correct filling under any scale factors.
