Solid state reactions of UO2MoO4 and Cs2MoO4 up to 1023 K have been in
vestigated. Two phases of the compound Cs2UO2(MoO4)(2) and a single ph
ase compound Cs-2(UO2)(2)(MoO4)(3) have been isolated and characterise
d by Thermal, X-ray Diffraction (XRD), chemical and IR methods. The XR
D patterns of the two phases of the compound Cs2UO2(MoO4)(2) could be
indexed on orthorhombic whereas that of Cs-2(UO2)(2)(MoO4)(3) on monoc
linic systems. Cell parameters of these compounds are reported here.
