Abstract
12-year-old boy in whom a benign gastric ulcer perforated into the fre e abdominal cavity is reported. He has underwent emergency operation w ith a preoperative diagnosis of acute peritonitis due to perforation o f peptic ulcer. Gastric ulcer is a rare disease of childhood. The illn ess was discussed in view of the literature.
