H. Suzuki et al., INFLUENCE OF MAGNETIC-ANISOTROPY DISTRIBUTION ON INTERACTIONS IN CO-CR-TA THIN-FILMS, IEEE transactions on magnetics, 31(6), 1995, pp. 2800-2802
In-plane remanence properties of Co-Cr-Ta thin films have been previou
sly investigated in order to quantify magnetic interaction effects par
allel to, and transverse to, the transfer direction, Samples were prep
ared at two deposition rates of the Cr underlayer. Magnetic layers dep
osited on high deposition rate Cr underlayer had lower peak heights of
Delta I and small coefficients of \d Delta I/dH\max. These properties
were investigated for magnetic layer thicknesses between 20 and 100 n
m. The magnetic interactions became stronger as the magnetic anisotrop
y increased with the decrease of the magnetic layer thickness.
