G. Cosemans et al., THE 3RD WORKSHOPS ENVIRONMENTAL-IMPACT ASSESSMENT MODEL INTERCOMPARISON EXERCISE, International journal of environment and pollution, 5(4-6), 1995, pp. 785-798
Twelve European modelling teams calculated the impact of a 600 MW powe
r plant, using one of their national regulatory transport and dispersi
on models. They were asked to report the model results in a uniform wa
y and to provide detailed information on the meteorological data and o
n the model used. Three modelling teams, from Greece, Germany and Belg
ium, used the same meteorological dataset. The reported parameters of
the calculated impact are generally within a factor of 10. Taking into
account the differences in the meteorological data used, about 50% of
the differences in the reported averages can be explained.
