This paper presents a new family of formaldehyde-free acrylic thermose
t resins for bonding nonwovens. Potential application areas for these
new crosslinking resins include wet-laid fibreglass nonwovens, filtrat
ion media, and other high-temperature-resistant substrates. Specific s
ubject areas presented include the physical properties of acrylic ther
moset resins and laboratory data defining the product performance char
acteristics. This paper is a continuation of the work presented by Gle
