Abstract
This paper identifies a method of choosing good locations for the virt ual sources in the MFS solutions when full region eddy current problem s are to be solved. Expressions for determining the distance between t he auxiliary surface where the virtual sources are located and the tru e conductor surface are developed for a broad range of frequencies. Th ese expressions can provide highly accurate results with minimum requi rement of computer power.
