Abstract
An incomplete tree gauge for 3D transient eddy current computation usi ng edge elements is presented. The proposed formulation is compared wi th the non-gauged and the random tree gauged formulations, showing tha t it results in better precision and better system matrix conditioning . H circulation is used to calculate the transient eddy current densit y. The results of the different approaches are discussed.
