Abstract
The paper describes a new energy conversion machine and its drive syst ems, which can effectively utilize alternative energies such as wind a nd solar power. The machine is a separately or a self-excited parametr ic induction generator. In this paper, the basic operations of the gen erator are investigated in order to determine the practical usability of the generator. The characteristics of the generator are also analyz ed, using an equivalent circuit.
