Abstract
This paper is concerned with the linear theory of thermo-microstretch elastic solids. In Section 3 we present a uniqueness theorem for the s olutions of this problem. This result covers a larger class of problem s than the uniqueness theorem stated in [5]. An existence theorem is a lso presented in Section 4. In Section 5 we study the asymptotic behav ior for the solutions of the homogeneous problem.
