Abstract
The synthesis of a new Sn(II) phosphate halogenide, Sn2PO4Br, is descr ibed. The compound was characterized by means of infrared and Raman sp ectroscopies as well as by its Sn-119-Mossbauer spectrum, The results are compared with those of other Sn(2)PO(4)X species.
