Abstract
Diffusion processes. caused by low-molecular radiolysis products, oxyg en and admixture mag form a macroscopic nonhomogeneous space distribut ion of macroradicals and may intensify the inner stresses in PMMA, par tially plasticated by methanol, leading to localization of polymer reg ion with highest macroradical concentration and/or microcrack formatio n near the borders in the volume and external surface of the sample.
