Abstract
Five tin(IV) and organotin(IV) hydridotris(4-chloro-3,5-dimethyl-1 H-p yrazol-1-yl)borates have been synthesized and characterized by H-1, C- 13 and Sn-119 NMR and Sn-119m Mossbauer spectroscopy. The tin atom has a more or less distorted octahedral coordination both in the solid st ate and in solution. The X-ray crystal structures of trichlorotin(IV) and dichlorophenyltin(IV) hydridotris [4-chloro-3,5-dimethyl-1H- -pyra zol-1-yl)borates confirm these inferences.
