Abstract
Double Michael addition of dimethyl/diethyl malonate/malanonitrile to Z,E- or E,E,- (4 methyl stryryl) styryl sulfones yielded 1,1-disubstit uted 2,6-diaryl-4-thian-4,4-dioxides. The compounds were characterised by elemental and spectral analyses.
