Abstract
Coumarino acid hydrazides prepared in two steps on condensation with a cetyl acetone gave pyrazole derivatives. Also on reaction with carbon disulphide in ethanol and m- bromobenzaldehyde gave 1,3,4-oxadiazoline -5-thiones and N-m-bromo-benzylidene derivatives respectively. Their a ntimicrobial activity has been tested against Alternaria brassicicola, Aspergillus niger, E. coli and Lactobacillus.
