Abstract
A series of -di-n-butyl-3,5-diarylimino-1,2,4-thiadiazolidines (1a-l) and 1-[2-(substituted benzothiazolyl]-1, 3-di-n-butyl guanidines (2a-l ) were synthesised and were evaluated for their antiinflammatory and a nalgesic activities. The present series has given encouraging results with 1-[2-(6-methoxy benzothiazoly)]-1,3-di-n-butyl-4-(4-methoxy pheny l) guanidine being the lead compound for further structural modifcatio n.
