Abstract
Addition of thioacids to Schiff's bases of ethylvanillin resulted in t he formation of 4-thiazolidinones. The synthesized compounds were char acterized on the basis of elemental analysis and spectral studies and tested in vitro against Curvularia lunata, Fusarium oxysporum, Alterna ria alternata and Myrothecium roridum for their antifungal activity.
