Abstract
The aerial parts of Haplopappus arbutoides afforded labda-8(17).13E-di en-15.18-dioic acid-15-methylester. The relative position of the free acid was unambigously established. In addition flavonoids and an aceto phenone derivative were isolated. Haplopappus scrobiculatus gave 2-Oxo kolavenic acid and flavonoids.
