Abstract
OsCl2(PPh(3))(3) is a cyclopropanation catalyst using ethyl diazoaceta te: wi!ha variety of activated alkenes; OsCl2(PPh(3))(3) is however le ss active than RuCl2(PPh(3))(3) for the decomposition of the diazo rea gent and the subsequent cyclopropanation.
