Abstract
Scanning electron microscopic studies revealed morphological differenc es between the cells involved in stylosporangium and sporangiole types of sporulation in Blakeslea trispora. The sporulation type was shown to depend on ambient temperature: stylosporangia, sporangia (sporangio les), and mixed sporulation patterns form at 30, 26, and 28 degrees C, respectively.
