Abstract
Variations in the silicate module of a microarc oxidation bath were st udied. Changes in the coating parameters, caused by these variations, were quantitatively evaluated. A continuous adjustment of the silicate module of the operating bath is achieved with a suggested electrodial yzer that regenerates the bath. Optimal current conditions for electro dialysis over a wide silicate-concentration range were discussed.
