Abstract
The mothering relationship is an essential part of a girl's education into womanhood. This paper explores the daughter-mother relationship a s portrayed in images made by an Hispanic girl and her mother in art t herapy sessions over a period of approximately 7 months, as worked fro m an archetypal, image-focused approach to art therapy.
