Abstract
A compilation of corrosion potentials reported for Al-based intermetal lic compounds is presented. The range of corrosion potentials for dilu te aluminum binary alloys is also given. This compilation is intended to serve as an aid in establishing galvanic relationships among discre te microstructural elements in aluminum alloys. This compilation is ba sed primarily on data reported in the corrosion literature with a focu s on corrosion potentials for intermetallic compound particles found i n commercial alloys.
