Abstract
Two specimens of a rare native fish species, the ziege Pelecus celtrat us (Linnaeus, 1758), were caught in the River Dyje (Danube basin) belo w a weir in the town of Breclav (river km 26.7). The morphological cha racteristics of the specimens are presented and evaluated
