Abstract
A detailed characterisation of beam steerable fan laser arrays is pres ented. The near field of the fan arrays is imaged to show that the dev ice has a single common effective aperture. The threshold statistics i ndicate that facet reflectivity is independent of crystal orientation. Further. the output angle is pump current independent.
