Abstract
In the title compound, [Fe(C13H9N2)(C5H5)], the heterocyclic ring is a lmost coplanar with the cyclopentadienyl ring to which it is bonded. T he molecules are arranged in a herringbone pattern generated by a 2(1) axis and there are no significant intermolecular interactions.
