Abstract
Astemizole, C28H31FN4O, is a non-sedating H-1 antihistamine. The cryst al structure contains two molecules in the asymmetric unit related by a pseudo centre of symmetry. The conformations of the methoxyphenyl-et hyl side chains are different. N-H ... N intermolecular hydrogen bonds link the molecules into infinite chains in the c direction of the Cc space group.
