Abstract
The reaction of Na[Fe(CO(2)(t)Bu)(CO)(4)] with 0.5 equiv of ClCOCOCl i n tetrahydrofuran affords the new complex [Fe(CO(2)(t)Bu)(CO)(4)](2), which is characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. S tructural and spectroscopic observations show that it does not present any bridging ligands.
