Abstract
A new iridoid diglycoside, scorodioside, has been isolated from Scroph ularia scorodonia. The structure of i this compound was elucidated by chemical and spectral analysis as -trans-cinnamoyl)-alpha-L-rhamnopyra nosylcatalpol. In addition, 8-O-cis-cinnamoylharpagide has been isolat ed.
