Abstract
In virtue of Mott mechanism, we calculate the giant magnetoresistance( GMR) in Pe/Cr superlattices. Our results show that the GMR oscillation s with the thickness of the ferromagnetic layer is due to the finite s ize effect of magnetic itinerant holes. The calculation is consistent with the experimental observation.
