Abstract
Studied since the XIXth century, the Let travertines (Montpellier) hav e not up to now been mapped in any detail. This multidisciplinary stud y with Th-230/U-234 isotopic data shows that the Castelnau-le-Lez trav ertines are diachronic. There are three great phases of travertine dep osits which allowed gouging by the Let during the Upper Pleistocene.
