Abstract
Transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography were utilized to di agnose a patient with lipomatous hypertrophy of the interatrial septum (LHIS). The role of other imaging techniques including computerized t omography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for differentiatin g it from other interatrial masses is discussed.
