Abstract
A 63-year-old man with a history of myeloblastic-monocytic leukaemia d eveloped partly suppurating cutaneous nodules on the lower left leg. T he nodules proceeded to spread in a linear fashion up the limb, follow ing the line of the lymphatic drainage. Mycological examination of a s kin biopsy demonstrated Scedoporium apiospermum. This case highlights the potential for Scedosporium species to act as opportunistic infecti ons in immunosuppressed humans.
